Dance With Me
Accompanied by a parent or guardian, this class is the perfect way to connect with your toddler and watch as they discover the joy of dance and music!
Creative Dance (2.5-3.5)
Appropriate for children ages 2.5-4 years old, this is a great choice for dancers who are potty trained, able to go to the bathroom without assistance, and able to be independent (parent participation is not allowed).
Creative Dance is a joyful way for children to transition from Dance With Me as they explore movement through dance and music. Your child will work on developing physical skills, stimulate imagination and creativity, and learn to be a classroom environment with peers.
Ages 3-5 years
Tiny Dancers
Appropriate for children ages 3-5 years old, this fun filled introduction to ballet , jazz, and the world of dance encourages exploration of movement and physical skills, while also nurturing imagination and creativity with story telling and props!
All children must be potty trained & able to go to the bathroom without assistance. Parent participation is not allowed.
Ages 4-5 years
(Pre-K)
Tiny Ballet
Your dancer will explore and discover the magic of ballet through story telling and props during this class! Dancers will learn pre-ballet and dance skills geared towards improving musicality, motor skills, and agility while also developing social, behavioral, and cognitive skills.
All children must be potty trained & able to go to the bathroom without assistance. Parent participation is not allowed.
Tiny Tappers
Combining tap, ballet, and creative movement, this ballet/tap class is the perfect introduction to two different styles of dance. Dancers will begin to learn the foundations of both tap and ballet while also developing social, behavioral, and cognitive skills.
All dancers must be potty trained & able to go to the bathroom without assistance. Parent participation is not allowed.
Tiny Hippity Hop
Combining hip hop and creative movement, this introductory hip hop class is perfect for children that are filled with energy and that love to dance! Dancers will begin to learn foundational hip hop skills along with easy to follow hip hop routines and combinations while also developing social, behavioral, and cognitive skills.
All dancers must be potty trained & able to go to the bathroom without assistance. Parent participation is not allowed.
Tiny Ballet/Jazz
Combining ballet, jazz, and creative movement, this class is a wonderful introduction to two different styles of dance. Dancers will do 20-25 minutes of ballet and 20 minutes of jazz during this 45 minute class. (Jazz shoes are not required for this class.)
All dancers must be potty trained & able to go to the bathroom without assistance. Parent participation is not allowed.
Tiny Tumblers (ages 4-5)
Tiny Tumblers is perfect for young dancers who are interested in gymnastics! This class will focus on introductory tumbling skills such as somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges while using mats and a balance beam.
All dancers must be potty trained & able to go to the bathroom without assistance. Parent participation is not allowed.
Minis: Ages 5-7 years
(K - 1st grade)
Mini Ballet
This introductory ballet class teaches the fundamentals of ballet vocabulary and technique while fostering a fun environment full of creativity and expression.
Mini Ballet 2
Appropriate for dancers that have completed one full year of Mini Ballet.
Mini Ballet 2 continues to build a strong foundation of ballet technique while working at the barre and in the center. Fluidity, grace, coordination, body placement, and dancing with emotion are all emphasized in this class, along with creativity and story telling.
Mini Ballet/Tap
Split into two parts, this class is the perfect way for your dancer to explore two different dance styles!
Creativity, fun, and imagination are encouraged throughout class as the your dancer explores the endless possibilities of movement. Tap develops musicality, precision, and coordination while ballet develops balance, grace, and an understanding body placement.
Mini Ballet/Tap 2
Appropriate for dancers that have completed one full year of Mini Ballet/Tap.
Dancers will continue to explore the endless possibilities of movement in this Ballet/Tap combo class. Split into 25 minutes of ballet and 25 minutes of tap, your dancer will further develop their tap and ballet skills.
Mini Hip Hop
This class is packed with fun and athletic movement as dancers are introduced to the stylized technique, isolations, and rhythm of hip hop.
Mini Hip Hop/Jazz
Mini Hip Hop/Jazz is a high energy combination class that focuses on the basics of both Hip Hop and Jazz. Dancers explore isolations, grooves, and alignment while learning the building blocks for jumps, turns, and stalls.
Ages 6-8 years
(1st - 3rd grade only)
Mini Tumblers (ages 5-8)
Appropriate for Tumblers ages 6 & up:
-5 year olds may enroll if they have completed two full sessions of Tiny Tumblers. -5 year old Tumblers must be going into kindergarten and have teacher approval to remain in this class during the School Year Session.
Students will learn basic tumbling skills, such as somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, and bridge, while using mats, a balance beam, and additional gymnastics props.
Beg/Int. Tumbling (ages 7-10)
Appropriate for Tumblers with 1-4 years of experience.
-Tumblers that are 7 years old must have completed one full session of Mini Tumblers to enroll in this class.
-Teacher approval is needed in order for 7 year olds to remain in this class during the School Year Session.
-All Tumblers ages 8+ may register with little to no previous experience.
Students will continue to learn basic tumbling skills, such as somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, and bridge, while eventually. progressing to more advanced skills such as front and back walkovers.
Cheer (ages 6-10)
Learn cheer positions, jumps, and routines that are incredibly fun and age appropriate in this intro to cheer class.
A set of pom poms will be purchased for each student enrolled in this class.
Ages 7 & up
(2nd grade & up)
Ballet, Ballet Tech, Ballet Foundations
Ballet creates a strong foundation for all other styles of dance and is essential for aspiring dancers. Ballet teaches precision, alignment, grace, and expression while also increasing dancers’ strength, flexibility, and balance through work at the barre and in center.
Ballet Tech classes offer additional opportunities for dancers in levels 2, 3, and 4 to advance in their ballet technique and move toward future pointe work.
*All pre-pointe and pointe students must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 ballet classes/week.
Ballet Foundations (ages 10+) if the perfect choice for motivated dancers with little to no previous ballet experience.
*One ballet class/week is required for students enrolled in all levels of Lyrical Fusion, as well as Jazz 2 & 3. Dancers in ballet levels 3 and 4 are strongly encouraged to sign up for ballet tech classes.
Pointe
Pointe class utilizes previously learned ballet technique while working in special shoes called pointe shoes. This class emphasizes building strength in the feet and ankles as dancers progressively advance in their pointe technique during barre and center work. Teacher approval & placement is required for this class.
*Dancers must be at least 12 years old and registered in a minimum of 2 ballet classes/week to participate in pointe class.
Jazz
Jazz dance is the best of both worlds- fun and pizazz plus stylized technique. It is an excellent compliment to ballet and taking both styles makes for a well rounded dancer.
*Dancers registered in Jazz are STRONGLY encouraged to take at least one Ballet class per week.
Lyrical Fusion
Lyrical Fusion is a combination class that blends together various elements of Lyrical and Contemporary dance. Dancers are taught how to emotionally connect with music and tell a story with their movement quality focusing on lines, shapes, fluidity, and grace.
*Dancers taking any level of Lyrical Fusion are required to register for at least one Ballet class per week.
Tap
Tap is a genre of dance that focuses on intricate foot movement to create patterns of sounds that emphasize the music. Tap is a balance between precise motor movement and upper body grace.
Hip Hop
Dancers will learn isolations, breakdancing, popping, and street-style dance to age appropriate pop music in this fun-filled and high energy class. Hip Hop is packed with energetic and athletic movements that encourage dancers to discover their own personal style and groove.
Hip Hop Foundations (ages 10+) if the perfect choice for motivated dancers with little to no previous hip hop experience.
Musical Theatre (10+)
Musical theatre combines dancing, acting, and singing into one fantastic class! Dancers will learn both classic and new-age choreography from a variety of musicals and movies.
Turns, Tricks, & Leaps
Learn and master a variety of turns, leaps, and tricks (floor work) in this extremely beneficial & technical class. Dancers will also learn basic tumbling, such as bridge, somersaults, and walkovers that are commonly used in dance.
