ADULT BALLET

Ballet teaches precision, alignment, grace, and expression while also increasing dancers’ strength, flexibility, and balance through work at the barre and in center.

Ballet Dress Code

Comfortable, form fitting clothing that is easy to dance in (leotard and tights are suggested but not required).

Ballet shoes are required for safety.

Warmups and layered dancewear, such as leg warmer, ballet skirts, etc., can be worn.

Hair pulled back and secured away from neck and face.
Please contact CDS if you would like to wear different footwear.
ADULT POINTE
Thursdays, 11:30-12:00 PM I Saturdays, 1:00-1:30 PM
We offer both beginning and Intermediate pointe classes for Adults at CDS. All beginning pointe dancers must have instructor approval to take pointe class. Pointe class may also be taken wearing ballet shoes. Taking pointe in ballet shoes is a great way to build the strength and endurance necessary for pointe work.

ADULT HIP HOP

This class is open to all levels of hip hop dancers with or without previous experience! Taught by Kevin Caraco, this class is a great choice for dancers who are taking hip hop for the first time, have danced professionally, or who may have danced many years ago and who want to get back to movin' and groovin'!
Dress Code

BARRE
Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 AM
Barre focuses on high-rep, low-impact pilates/ballet/mat inspired exercises to isolate and strengthen various muscle groups. Some equipment may be utilized and provided, including but not limited to: resistance bands, Pilates balls, yoga blocks, and hand weights. No prior dance, ballet or pilates experience needed.
